‘Spider-Man’ Reboot: Emma Stone Signed For Sequels; Details On Los Angeles Shoot And Budget

Now, the latest in Emma Stone hair news is that she’s going to haveto stay blondefor a while as she’s apparently signed on for “a few” sequels. And the first Spidey film, scheduled for release on July 22, 2025, is currently shooting in Los Angeles and theLos Angeles Timesdropped a bunch of information both on shooting locations for the film as well as its budget. Stone dropped the news of her being contracted for “a few” films in an interview onThe Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Here’s what she said when asked about how long she’s going to keep the blonde hair.
There’s a few Spidermen, so I may have to keep it for a couple of years.
She also told a story about training for the film, but not including her co-star, Andrew Garfield.
The other day, after work, I was supposed to work out with our trainer and Andrew said ‘Would it be ok if I worked out with you guys?’ I was like ‘No, that would not be ok’. He said ‘Why? It’ll be a bonding experience’. I said ‘Because you can lift a car and I am a weakling beyond belief’. We’re on two completely different ends of the spectrum.

In the article, they mention thatSpider-Manis currently taking up seven stages on the Sony Pictures lot alone and employing well over 1,000 people. However, it’s going to be shooting on location too. Here’s what they had to say.
Sony began its 90-day film shoot for “Spider-Man” two weeks ago, mainly on the lot but also on location, including at the Henry Fonda Theater in Hollywood and Immanuel Presbyterian Church in mid-Wilshire.
Scheduled for release in 2012, “Spider Man 4” has an entirely new cast (British actor Andrew Garfield replaces Tobey Maguire) and is being directed by Marc Webb at less than half the budget of the previous Spider-Man film, which cost more than $250 million to make.
Although the production will include two weeks in New York (where the story is set), the bulk of filming will occur in Los Angeles on the Sony lot and various locations around town, from South Pasadena to San Pedro to Woodland Hills.
So to recap, the film is going to cost roughly $125 million, is set in New York, but will shoot all over Los Angeles and Emma Stone is signed for more than one film, which is weird becauseher character dies in the original comics, right? And what happened to the idea of shooting this incarnation of Spider-Manin the $80m range?
