Box Office Tracking: Cloverfield Targets $40M 4-Day The star-studded premiere of Cloverfield (Paramount) was last night (Wednesday, January 16) at the studio lot on Melrose. They hope to build new high tech sound stages and offices, which will involve more than one million square feet of development. They will also be turning surface parking lots into structures and expanding sound stage space another 21,000 square feet. The expansion project, which must be first be approved by the city of Los Angeles, would be stretched out over the next 25 years....
