However, a new technological development has made it possible to make your own Wolverineclawsthat not only extend and retract, but they’ll do it with the simple flex of your arm.

So how is this possible? Well, this nerdy little creation is actually a way of demonstrating and promoting a sensor called theMyoWare(check out theirKickstarter campaign over here). The practical use of this sensor would be to make prosthetic limbs that much more functional so that someone could merely flex their muscle to use an artificial limb to pick something up.
In fact, you’ve already seen some of MyoWare’s work in action. Remember that video we featured where Robert Downey Jr. acted in character as Tony Stark to give anIron Man-style prosthetic arm to a young kid? That arm used MyoWare’s sensor technology to work.
Now if you’ve got the time, a 3D printer and a little bit of money, you can build the little device that you see above.
