TheTim Burton-producedHenry Selick-directed stop-motion animated masterpieceThe Nightmare Before Christmasreturns to the big screen this Halloween season with screenings at the Disney-owned El Capitan Theatre from October 21st through October 31st 2010. You may have seen the film in one of the 3D rereleases in previous years, and at the El Capitan Theatre the Mouse House will be presenting the film, for the first time ever, in something they are calling “4D.” The Digital Disney 3D presentation will be supplemented with in theater special effects such as wind and fog.

The last set ofScott Pilgrim vs. The Worldmidnight screenings at the New Beverly sold out in minutes, so directorEdgar Wrighthas booked another screening, this time at Hollywood’s Egyptian theatre (6712 Hollywood Blvd.) on November 1st 2010 at 7:30pm to promote the November 9th DVD/Blu-ray release of the film. Not only might this be your last time to see the film on the big screen, but the screening will feature a Q&A hosted byGuillermo Del Toro(Hellboy, Pan’s Labyrinth). Del Toro will grill Wright andBryan Lee O’Malley(the creator of the graphic novel, which the film is based upon).
