There will be at least one onscreen kiss between Hoover and Tolson.

While most of the script features versions of the men in their ’30s, there are a couple flashforwards that see them in their ’70s. For those sequences makeup will be used to age the actors. Hammer says, “I’m playing Toulson up to his elderly age! Makeup stuff comes within the next couple weeks. I’m fascinated by Hoover as a figure, and as a character, and the cast for this film is looking good.Charlize Theronisn’t yet confirmed, but Mr. Eastwoodsounded positiveabout the liklihood of her signing on. And Damon Herriman iscastas Bruno Hauptmann, who committed ‘the Crime of the Century’ when he kidnapped and killed the Lindbergh baby. We still don’t know how his story will factor into the film, other than it likely places the core action of the film in the early to mid ’30s, as the crime took place in ‘32 and Hauptmann was tried in ‘35.
